DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Just wanted to recommend a few comics that have been good (or decent) after the first issue so far...
Usagi Yojimbo: Ice & Snow, Transformers (Skybound), Holy Roller, Alice Cooper, Batman-Santa Claus' Silent Knight (which is finished), and Titans Beast World.
Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries v3 #1
Creative Team: Sholly Fisch (W) Dario Brizuela (A)
Synopsis: A new ongoing series teams up Gotham's greatest detectives with Crystal Cove's teen sleuths!
The big top's the place for thrills and chills--even more so when
a traveling circus is haunted! But even Scooby and the gang
don't realize just how chilling it is for Nightwing...because this
is Haly's Circus, Dick Grayson's childhood home!
Score: 9.6 (Near Mint Plus--Don't sleep on these "kids books". These are some of the best comics that are simply
fun with great stories and the characters are what you're familiar with. It's hard not to dislike.)
Kneel...Before Zod #1
Creative Team: Joe Casey (W) Dan McDaid (A)
Synopsis: General Zod was Krypton's most notorious criminal. Now
he has an entire planet to rule--but what happens when the most
dangerous individual in the universe gets everything he ever wanted?
Obviously, he wants more--and he'll stop at nothing to get it--in the
most brutal series you'll read this year! This is not a hero's journey.
This is a dark ride, brought to you by the sick and twisted minds of
Adventures of Superman writer Joe Casey and artist Dan McDaid
in his monumental main-line DC debut. For General Zod and his
family, the descent into hell has just begun.
Score: ??? (I really don't care for General Zod. He's a villain who
appeared a smitch in the comics but somehow appears in almost
every iteration of Superman whether it's the movies, cartoons, or
live-action shows. He's one of the villains I'm done seeing because it's literally the same story over and over again. It's like seeing Batman or Spider-Man origin again. But yeah I tried to read this but I just couldn't focus.)
Beyond #1
READ OR NOT
Vengeance of the Moon Knight v2 #1
Creative Team: Jed MacKay (W) Alessandro Cappuccio (A)
Synopsis: CLAD IN THE BLACK OF MOURNING, THE
MIDNIGHT MISSION REMAINS!
But who is left to keep the faith? And how have they been changed by the Black Spectre's master stroke? The next chapter of MOON KNIGHT starts here as the congregants of the Midnight Mission pick up the pieces and carry on the mission...and find themselves faced with a mysterious new enemy in eerily familiar vestments.
Score: 9.2 (Near Mint Minus--Not a bad jumping on a point if you don't read Moon Knight. You can actually read this like it is a new indie comic if you haven't been reading Moon Knight. Tons of cool covers so choose wisely for $5.99 each.)
Fall of the House of X #1
Creative Team: Gerry Duggan (W) Lucas Werneck (A)
Synopsis: KRAKOA HAS JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!
KRAKOA HAS JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT! Mutantkind has never
had a greater fall. From the highs of Krakoa - their own glorious
nation, a place where they were safe and happy - to the lowest
of lows. Outlawed, hunted, killed, most of their kind missing or
dead, and now, one their greatest leaders, Cyclops, is on trial
facing a death penalty. Ready or not, the time has come for the
X-Men to make their final stand against the forces that have struck
them low. The day is now. The place is here. The tale of the house
Xavier built will long be told...and few will forget this darkest chapter.
Score: 2.0 (Good--X-Men books are just horrible. Nothing about
the X-Men had made sense in a long time. Fall of the House of X #1
looks like it's in the process of trying to clean up the mess that X-Men
has become and there are too many other books to read to try and
make sense of this "gabbage". Also, I hate when Wolverine takes
heavy damage his body always gets destroyed somehow.
Wolverine's body is garbage now.)

Kid Venom Origins #1
Creative Team: TAIGAMI (W/A)
Synopsis: THIS IS KID VENOM!
For the first time collected in one issue, the full four parts
of KID VENOM from DEATH OF THE VENOMVERSE!
Also, behind-the-scenes content never before seen,
including the original work that brought Taigami to Marvel!
Plus: A glimpse at what the future holds for KID VENOM!
Score: 9.2 (Near Mint Minus--Basically a character who is
from another Earth so I have no personal care. Good story
and art. If you're a big Venom fan or an otaku I highly
recommend this comic for you. I just don't recommend this for
the average comic collector.)
1st Issue!! Week 1/3/24
