Geeks Who Eat: JoJo's Express

JoJo's Express is a small quick version of

the family restaurant in Salisbury, Md. JoJo's

Express is located in Gaithersburg, Md. Like

the main location, JoJo's is named after the

owner's granddaughter and it's like nothing

else you will ever see! They're known for

serving only the quality food they would want

in their own homes. They make all their sauces,

bread, and seasonings using only the freshest

ingredients!

The express only had maybe a quarter of the main menu. I tried the fried chicken and whoa wow! It was incredible! The food was cook to order so the chicken was piping hot when you eat it (and still was after

eating the sides first). The chicken had a good

crunch and very juicy inside! The food was so

good no one at the table was talking (that's when

you know the food is good). Shout out to Adrian

for letting me try their cream of crab soup. When

you order this soup let it cool down for a bit because

it's so hot it taste very milky. But once it cool down a

bit its nice and creamy. Quite a bit of lump crab meat

but the best thing about the soup was there were no

shells in the soup. I never in my life had cream of crab

soup without coming across at least one piece of

shell in it. The food was so amazing I'm ready to go to

the Salisbury location. Also, the price is very doable for

what they give you. Next time I go back to JoJo's Express I want to try their BBQ Ribs and Crab Cakes. Anyone driving through the Eastern Shore for Anime Ocean City I highly recommend you stop by JoJo's.
