6. Jar of Avarice
This is my personal staple card. This is my second chance to recycle cards that may be in the graveyard such as Mirror Force, Ghost of a Grudge, Monster Reborn, Oracle Mahad, Lightning Storm, Witch of the Black Forrest &, etc along with receiving a free draw. I also use this card for players who try to deck out their opponents.
7. Scareclaw Tri-Heart
A great way to immobilize your opponent from attacking. Plus this card is almost unaffected by anything. Team this card up with Black Luster Soldier- Soldier of Chaos (you can link summon him quickly using the effect of Joker's Straight) & you're golden.
Pro-Tip: Add Total Defense Shogun since it's a monster that can attack in defense mode.

8. Starlight Road
Protect your field whether it be your monsters or your spell/trap and you get a free 2500 attack monster from your extra deck.
Pro-Tip: Don't forget to add Stardust Dragon to your extra deck.
2. Battle Fader
A life-saving card to keep in your hand when your opponent destroys all your monsters and you have no trap or spell cards to protect your life points with.
Pro-Tip: If the timing is right you can use this card to special summon Sauge De Fleur (or a 5/6 stars monster) during your turn.
5. Ghost of a Grudge
I love this card! This card saved me so many times. I love playing this card when my opponent's battle phase. Smarter to play on your battle phase.
Pro-Tip: This card is extremely good to have if you have a deck that forces your opponent to discard their cards to the graveyard. Pair it up with Necrovalley so your opponent can't remove their cards from play.
10. Psychic Shockwave
If you like playing with Jinzo this is the fastest way to summon him if he's not in your hand.
Pro-Tip: This card also works if you have a machine deck. You can special summon powerful machine monsters such as Machine King, Constellar Antares, Kozmo Landwalker & Ally of Justice Clausolas.

3. Metal Reflect Slime
Great defensive card but its real strength comes from being able to special summon Egyptian God Slime from your extra deck during your turn.
Pro-Tip: Activate this card during your turn if you're able to.
4. Sauge De Fleur
A great powerful monster that is easy to summon as long as you have a monster on the field (really good if you had just summoned Battle Fader during your opponent's turn) & can destroy almost all annoying & powerful monsters at the same time. You can also add this card to your hand by using Witch of the Black Forrest.
Pro-Tip: Add a Predaplant Sarraceniant to your deck if you use this card.

Start off simple. This particular card is probably in half of most players' deck. It's a great card to have especially with these newer OP cards such as Kashtira Arise-Heart and
Scareclaw Tri-Heart.

9. Palladium Oracle Mahad
This is the winning lottery monster. You automatically get to special-summon a 2500 attack (5000 if it battles a dark attribute) monster to the field just for drawing him. Also when he goes to the graveyard due to battle or effect he special summons Dark Magician from the hand, deck, or graveyard (so add Dark Magician too).
Pro-Tip: If you have this card in your hand on your first turn just discard it to the graveyard ASAP and use Monster Reborn or Jar of Avarice to retrieve it.
