Synopsis: Fleeing through space to escape their dying home
world, the ThunderCats were attacked en route by their mortal
enemies, the Mutants of Plun-Darr. After diverting their damaged
flagship to a planet called Third Earth, the surviving ThunderCats
now strive to rebuild their society in harmony with the new world's
natives. But the Mutants, determined to possess the ThunderCats'
mystical gem, the Eye of Thundera, have tracked them down - and
they've also forged an alliance with Mumm-Ra, the devil priest of
Third Earth! Now the ThunderCats, led by an inexperienced Lion-O,
must band together as never before to protect their legacy from this
combined enemy. But will they be able to withstand the onslaught of
Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, once he sets his eyes upon them?
Score: NG (No Grade-- BIG Thundercats fan. I don't like how some of the characters look mostly Tygra. Also, where the frell is Snarf?! I don't want to re-read a story I already know or read someone else's version. If anything you could've created a random story that took place somewhere in the series or after the series finale. Lastly, no one knows how to handle the Sword of Omens. The sword is already broken by a common weapon. Every time the sword broke was due to something superior in strength being able to break the blade or Lion-o misused it.)

DC's How To Lose A Guy Gardner In 10 Days #1
Creative Team: Various (W) Various (A)
Synopsis: EIGHT ROM-COM-INSPIRED NEW STORIES ABOUT LOVE—AND TRYING TO FIND IT—IN THE DC UNIVERSE!
Romance is rarely a simple affair—love is almost always followed
by some sort of conflict. Whether you're Plastic Man twisting
yourself into knots trying to please someone, or the Flash
traveling back in time to make a catastrophic 50 first dates perfect,
or even a lonely robot who just can't seem to find love unless it's
mail from a computer screen, like Red Tornado, love actually is…
a pain in the 27 dresses. So in the grand tradition of these dating
conundrums a la rom-coms of the '90s and '00s, we are proud to
present eight new stories about love and trying to find it in this
zany world.
Score: 6.0 (Fine--There are a few good stories in this issue. Also,
a few I didn't like cuz of the art or the story made me fall asleep.
I would save my money on something else and if I did buy this
Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum #1
Creative Team: John Layman (W) Jesus Hervas (A)
Synopsis: THINGS ARE GONNA GET MESSY IN THIS PREQUEL TO ROCKSTEADY'S SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE VIDEO GAME!
Before the Suicide Squad sets their sights on the corrupted
Justice League in the upcoming videogame Suicide Squad:
Kill the Justice League, join us for this thrilling prequel and
witness them kill Arkham Asylum! Amanda Waller has taken
control of the recently rebuilt Arkham, and her brutal tactics
and merciless methods have led to the most secure asylum
Gotham has ever known. But when the cell doors open, and
the inmates are left in a free-for-all deathmatch, Waller's true
intentions reveal themselves: identify the strongest, smartest,
and most brutal to serve her on Task Force X.
Score: 6.0 (Fine-- First of all I don't like the art. It's like a horrible
imitation of Howard Porter [I think it's the colorist why I think this].
Also, I don't like this game being part of the Arkham series especially
because they made Deadshot black now. This game should've been its own universe and this comic should've started to come out months ago to get players hyped for the story. Lastly, I'm tired of seeing Amanda Waller.)
P.S.- The only reason to buy this comic cuz each printed issue includes a redeemable code for a bonus digital token in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League inspired by the comic. Get the new Mr. Zsasz digital doll with issue #1.
